Criminal Client Testimonials and Cases
Conviction Dismissed. In 2017, Sam H. came to McKenzie Law Offices, PLLC on felony probation. We filed a motion to terminate his probation and have the criminal conviction dismissed. The Court granted our motion and his charges have now been dismissed. Here is a direct quote from Sam: “Mack Law is amazing. They did everything they said they would do, they are honest, fair, and diligent. I will recommend them to any one I can.” Sam H.
NOT Guilty. In February 2015, McKenzie Law Offices, PLLC went to jury trial on behalf of a client accused of Felony Aggravated Assault, Felony Domestic Battery with Traumatic Injury, and Domestic Battery in the presence of a Child. The State also charged our client with attempting to influence a witness and three counts of violating a no contact order for multiple telephone calls from the jail to the alleged victim. A difficult case.
After a two day trial, the jury found our client NOT GUILTY of ALL the original charges (Not Guilty of Felony Aggravated Assault, Not Guilty of Felony Domestic Battery with Traumatic Injury, and Not Guilty of Domestic Battery in the presence of a Child). The Court, on our motion, threw out two of the alleged violations of a no contact order, so our client was found guilty of only one count of influencing a witness and violating a no contact order. We were pleased with the result and felt that justice was done for a man that was falsely accused.
Second Chance. “Let me start by saying thank you. I can not even begin to thank you for taking my problems and making them yours. Curt, I owe you more than just money for representing me. You have given me a second chance at life… I have you guys and God to thank for this whole outcome. I truly love you guys and am excited for my future.”

“Just thought I’d drop you a line and say THANK You for helping me out and being at my parole hearing on June 16th…. It is smart to have an attorney at these hearings… Also your coaching was great … I have told other offenders to get lawyers for their parole hearings … ”

“Thank you so very much for your wonderful help with my parole hearing! It couldn’t have gone any better, I am so pleased with your work.
You did a wonderful job preparing me for the pre-board hearing and the board hearing. The last time I went to board I had no help and I was so unprepared. They asked me questions which I was not prepared to answer. It was not a pleasant experience for me. This time, thanks to your help, I was ready for what they asked me… I was so much more at ease going into the hearing, knowing that I had the support that your firm gave me.
I couldn’t be more pleased with your service and help. Thank you so very much for all you have done for me! I would highly recommend your firm to any one who is preparing for a parole hearing!”
